Drimnagh Castle

Drimnagh Castle was inhabited until the year of 1954 and belonged to the oldest residences among the castles of Ireland. It is an excellent pattern of historical stronghold of feudal times.

And just like in former times there is a moat with water around the castle. Drimnagh castle comprises an undercroft of Middle Ages, Great Hall and a tower, which used to be a post to watch the enemy and so on. The most striking thing about the castle is its garden, where the layout of the 17th century was kept.
